Peter Silver & Associates is an independent creative practice working across culture, events and ideas.

We bring together creative perspective, strategic thinking and the practical understanding required to move ideas from possibility to realisation.

Our work is informed by more than two decades of experience across Australian performing arts, cultural programming and major events. It draws on an understanding of the creative, commercial, and human considerations that shape a project, often long before it reaches the stage of delivery.

We look beyond the boundaries of a particular discipline to consider what a project needs around it: the relationships, partnerships, resources and considered decisions that give an idea direction and enable it to enter the world.

Peter Silver is an Australian creative producer and arts and events executive working across the performing arts, cultural institutions and major civic events.

Peter has held senior positions with some of Australia's most respected arts and event organisations, and worked across a diverse range of institutions and projects, including the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, City Recital Hall, the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), The Australian Ballet, Sydney Dance Company, Sydney Philharmonia Choirs, the Australian Institute of Music, Oz Showbiz Cares Equity Fights AIDS Inc., Great Big Events, and the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.

At the heart of Peter's practice is an enduring interest in understanding how the right people, concepts and circumstances come together to make meaningful work possible.
